What Our Guests Say...
Amazing Farm House in a great location
The Farm House is AMAZING and perfect for 12 Ladies on a Hen Weekend.
We visited both Bath and Bristol using local travel companies; this information was provided by Clare.
Clare was attentive, super helpful and thorough throughout our booking and during our stay. She even let us borrow an HDMI cable which was much appreciated.
Would highly recommend – perfect accommodation and great price also!
Wonderful weekend stay
My friends and I (11 of us in total) recently stayed at Bury Hill Farm for a hen weekend and absolutely loved it. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped and sits in charming surroundings. The pictures don’t do this place justice.
Whilst we originally had some concerns about getting everyone showered and ready for a night out with there being two bathrooms, we actually had no issues whatsoever. Plenty of hot water to go round was a bonus! Access to some of the bedrooms is via other bedrooms, however with us being a large group of girls this wasn’t a problem.
The kitchen had everything we needed (plenty of fridge/freezer space and cooking gear) and getting two supermarkets (Sainsbury’s and Asda) to deliver went without a hitch. Funnily enough both turned up at the exact same time.
Would definitely recommend Bury Hill Farm – thank you for a wonderful stay.
Great Place to Stay

We had a great time at the house. We’ve got two young daughters who loved seeing all the animals. The rest of our group was made up of 10 adults and the house was perfect for a group of this size, specially in the evening when you could relax in front of the fire (remember to buy logs in advance from the owners). Within walking distance there is also a lovely pub that was family friendly and did great food. A lovely stay in the countryside. Would strongly recommend!
A Fantastic Weekend Stay!

Just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic weekend stay at Bury Hill Farm! We were there for a hen weekend and the house seemed almost designed for that purpose. It’s so pretty and the bedroom set up was ideal for our large group. All of the hens were overwhelmed by the house and commented on what a good find it was. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity you could think of. For anything you couldn’t find, the friendly owner was on hand. Clare was there when we arrived to talk us through anything we needed to know and show us how to operate things. She couldn’t have been more helpful for our stay. She took delivery of a hot tub for us before our arrival and was round within a couple of minutes to lend us a Bluetooth speaker we’d forgotten to bring. It was great knowing Clare was there if we needed anything yet it still felt completely private. The farm is ideally situated for exploring Bristol with it only being a 15 minute car journey. Clare has preferential rates with local taxi firms which came in handy. I would happily go there on a family holiday with my young children as they would love the farm and the enclosed garden is ideal. Equally, I would highly recommend for a large group of friends or family. Really hope I get the opportunity to visit again!
What a Memorable Stay!

We really can’t say enough about this home & the owner (Clare). The home is very spacious, clean and well equipped. The property is located on a farm so my son really enjoyed being able to see the animals each day. We will definitely be back! |
Lovely Farmhouse.

Lovely farmhouse with everything we needed for 12 people. We stayed there for a birthday party weekend and it was great fun. We did eat out one night at the Willy Wicket, which was very near and easily walked, and lovely food. Catering for 12 was easy at the farmhouse, everything we needed was there. It as great fun.
Perfect for Hen Do or Girly Weekend!

Pretty, Cosy and Comfortable

The house was in a beautiful rural setting and was very pretty, cosy and comfortable. It was a fabulous size for our family of 8 adults and 5 children. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole layout was conducive to a perfect family weekend. We loved being so close to the farm animals and enjoyed a pretty walk to the local pub (with gorgeous food and a roaring fire). The owner was delightful to deal with and we really couldn’t fault anything. Will definitely book again for next year xxx
Fantastic Stay!

My family all met at Bury Hill Farm, 12 in total. The accommodation was very spacious and catered to all our needs. Everything was there that you could want. The location was easy to find for all as we were arriving from different locations in England. The house is in a beautiful setting. We had some fresh eggs for breakfast which the owner let my young son collect, which he loved doing. We enjoyed evenings sat around the log burner and enjoyed family meals sat around the huge kitchen table. We all loved staying there and are looking forward to returning soon.
