We also live on the farm, we live next to the holiday accommodation. The properties face opposite directions giving complete privacy to the holiday accommodation. You feel like you’re in a completely separate house and are not overlooked. You have your own private parking area, enough for 8 cars right in front of the house.
Just bring yourself and shopping and relax. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, mugs, glasses and cutlery, mostly everything you should need for a great holiday. We supply a small amount of the following to get you started – toilets rolls, dishwasher tablets, dish clothes, bin bags. Hand towels are provided in the bathrooms (2 in each) but we only supply bath towels for a 7 nights or more stay.
The Ground floor is an idea arrangement for socialising, with a kitchen diner. The Dining table comfortably seats 12. Doors from the dining room enter straight into the lounge and this has paito doors which open out onto the paito.
Bedrooms are arranged over 2 floors, the first floor has 3 bedrooms. no 1 is the master with en suite, kingsize bed and is the biggest bedroom with views of the garden and fields beyond. no 2 has 2 single beds with views over the patio and onto the fields. no 3 has a kingsize bed and faces the back of the house. There are stairs on the landing behind a closed door which take you up to the second floor. This is an attic conversion and has 3 nice sized bedrooms. Access to the bedrooms are from the stairs and via bedroom no 4 which is the only bedroom which has a double bed, no 5 has 2 single beds with views over the patio and fields, no 6 (access via 4 and 5) has a kingsize with views over the patio and garden, this bedroom is directly over bedroom no 1. This arrangement will not suit everyone, but has been idea for large families and group of ladies holidaying together. All of the bedrooms have wardrobes, bedside tables with lamps, drawers etc.
There is a WC on the ground floor off of the utility room and we have 2 bathrooms on the first floor, both have baths and one has a separate shower the other is a shower over the bath.
A large BBQ is provided (located in the shed) but you will need to bring some charcoal.
Well behaved pets are welcome, by arrangement and signing of our pet rules, there is small additional fee. The maximum is 2.
