Enjoying Beer Bierfest Bristol

German Beerfest is Coming to Bristol UK – 18th – 20th May 2018

Based in Millennium Square near the Harbourside Bristol this party is packed full of live music and of course litres of beer.  An Oompah-filled paradise packed with entertainment, traditional dress and beer.  This years German inspired festival tent can hold an impressive 1,200 people.  There are 4 main areas in German Village and Beerfest: a German Village, an open-air Bier Garden, a Fun Time Area and a Bier Tent.

When the sun comes out again and the days get longer, sit outside in the garden and enjoy the vibe of this fun event. Get yourself a Heidi wig, Lederhosen or Dirndl from the German souvenir shop and join in with the electric atmosphere, with singing and dancing.  It’s not just about the beer though, over a long weekend you can enjoy fun and entertainment for the whole family.  Visit the German Village with traditional huts selling authentic German products, there’s an exclusive Sket Garden where you can enjoy a delicious glass of German Sekt.  Or experience the Fun Time Area provided to please everyone. With traditional Hau den Lukas for kids and adults and challenging 2-minute Hang game.

 

Enjoy the delights of food available – Typical German delicacies such a Brezel (twisted-knot baked bread), Bratwurst (German   specialty sausage), Schnitzel (deep-fried breaded pork cutlet), Hendl (grilled chicken), Schweinebraten (German style roast pork). They also serve chips and snacks.

Travel –

By foot: a short walk from the the city centre bus stops. Millennium Square is behind the At-Bristol building.

By bus: First Bus number 8 or 9 to College Green from Bristol Temple Meads station. From College Green, walk down to the side of Bristol Cathedral.

By train: the closest train station is Bristol Temple Meads. From there, the venue is a 20 minute walk, a 5 minute taxi or a 10 minute bus ride.
